Located at Ashok Nagar, Kakutpally Housing Board Colony, Hyderabad, the campus of the university is constructed on 100 acres of area in the state of Telangana, offering amazing education and career opportunities to the students. The university has other facilities and student amenities like: Library: The library of the university has close to 45000 sq. ft. space and is extended over three floors. The library is located centrally in the campus. It is fully automated and offers vast exposure to the students. The library is modern and has an excellent learning environment with a laptop zone and high-speed Wi-Fi, an internet browsing area, a reading zone, a research area, and other workstations. The library has both online and printed reading material for students with a collection of 93000+ books, 140+ printed national journals & 35+ international journals, 5000+ back volumes, 4000+ dissertations and thesis, 30000+ e-journals, 4+ e-databases, and 3500+ e-books. Apart from this, more than 470 students can enjoy the facilities of the library at one time along with photocopying and CDs & DVD facilities for visual learning. Computer Lab: The university has excellent computer lab facilities for the students. There are 10 computer labs with centralised AC, fast internet connection, and comfortable seating. The lab is connected to an excellent network that helps the students perform their tasks easily. Out of 10 labs, 5 labs have a capacity of 60 students and the other 5 has a capacity of 30 students. Hostel: JNTUH provides excellent accommodation facilities to boys and girls students coming to Hyderabad to complete their graduation. There are separate accommodation premises for boys and girls and each hostel and its rooms are well furnished, equipped, and maintained. For the entertainment of the hostellers, the hostel premises have various fun activities like a gymnasium, computer room, TV hall, reading room, etc. The mess area of the hostel offers home-like delicious and nutritious food to the students, cooked in a clean and hygienic environment. Canteen: The university has a canteen space that offers a delicious food being cooked in a hygienic and clean kitchen. The rates of the canteen are affordable and allow the students to interact and socialise with each other. Sports: The university has excellent sports arrangements for the students. The sports department of the university is headed by expert physical education professors and assistant professors. The students here are encouraged to participate in games like Kho-Kho, Chess, Table Tennis, Basketball, Throwball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Football, Carom, etc. JNTUH has all the major games for both boys and girls and the university also participates in various inter-university tournaments and events like boxing, cricket, etc. Auditorium: There are two auditoriums present on the premises of the university. The name of the auditorium are Jawaharlal Nehru Auditorium and UGC Auditorium respectively, with an accommodation space of 1000+ and 300+ people, respectively. This space of the university is being used for organising seminars, convocations, international meets, award shows, annual functions, etc. Conference Hall: The university owns multiple seminar halls, like electronic seminar halls and mini-seminar halls. The seating capacity of the electronic seminar hall is between 75 to 350 and 15 to 35 students can sit in mini seminar halls. The electronic seminar hall is well equipped with an internet facility and audio-video system and is used for organising placement sessions or guest lectures, on the other hand, the mini seminar hall is equipped with LCD projectors and is used to organise student’s viva presentations and other project works.
