Since 2012, AIIMS Patna has established itself as a national-level medical institution. AIIMS Patna courses include MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, MSc Nursing, MS, MD, DM, and MCH. About Campus life
AIIMS Patna is well-equipped and caters to roughly 1500 outpatients every day. Every department has its own OPD block area, there are 3 state-of-the-art semi-modular operation theatres and two minor operation theatres. More than 250 surgeries are conducted at AIIMS Patna every month. The institute has round-the-clock laboratory and exceptional radiology with MRI, CT, Digital mammography, Biplane DSA, digital radiography and ultrasound with color Doppler facilities. The Nursing college is in a separate building and the in-take is 60 B.Sc Nursing students every year. The medical college building is centrally air-conditioned and has WiFi. There are many teaching departments with research and teaching laboratories. The institute has separate hostels for boys, girls and residents (married and unmarried accommodation) with food plaza and multiple messes. The hostels are all equipped with Wi-Fi. When it comes to recreational facilities, AIIMS Patna has an open playground, cricket, and football pitches, a modern gymnasium, indoor games facility and badminton courts.
