About University

Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology was established in 2010 and was formerly known as Jaypee Institute of Engineering and Technology, Guna. It was established by Jaiprakash Seva Sansthan (JSS) to impart engineering education. It is committed to become a Center of Excellence in the domain of Engineering and Technology through international outlook, developed infrastructure, and interaction with industry. JUET aims to develop highly skilled and quality manpower in the areas of Technology. It is a Private University which is recognised by UGC and is accredited by NAAC with “A+” grade. About Campus life
JUET campus is spread over 125 acres and is on the national highway which links Agra to Mumbai. The University provides facilities to the students which include Laboratories, Auditorium, IT Infrastructure, Bank, Transportation, Sports, Clubs, Guest House, etc. Other facilities include: Library: Learning Resource Center has a wide collection of Books, National and International Journals, Manuals, Project Reports, Standard, Technical Reports, Encyclopedia, E-Books, E-Journals, DELNET, etc. The services provided by the library include reference services, book bank services, reprographic services, etc. Canteen: The University has separate Annapurna canteen for male and female students. It provides hygienic food and can accommodate 450+ students. Tagore Hall: It is a multi-purpose hall which is equipped with audio visual facilities and has a seating capacity of 2000+ members. It has a multi screen stage and is used as a playing field for 2+ badminton courts, 2+ table tennis tables, basketball court, etc. Gymnasium: The gyms are equipped with light and heavy weight equipment. It includes an exercise bike, weight lifting kits, Dumbbells, twister, cable cross, etc. Hostel: The students are provided with separate accommodation facilities for girls and boys. The University has 21 blocks of boys’ hostels which can accommodate 1800+ students and girls’ hostel can accommodate 420+ students. The hostels have well furnished rooms, TV room, reading room, indoor games facilities, and all the basic amenities. Shopping Center: To cater to the daily requirements of the students, the University has a shopping center within the campus which includes 1+ Tuck Shop, Grocery Shop, Readymade Garment Shop, Cafeteria, Bakery and Ice Cream Shop, etc. Medical: The Health Care Center is situated within the campus and provides medical facilities to the students. It has a pathologist, more than 1 compounder, and an experienced doctor. The university also has 1+ ambulances, first-aid, CPR facilities, etc. for the students.

The University has 21 blocks of boys’ hostels which can accommodate 1800+ students and girls’ hostel can accommodate 420+ students.
