Major facilities offered by Rabindra Bharati University on its campus are described below: Library: The library system of the university contains a Central Library, Departmental Libraries, and Sangeet Bhavan Library. Students get library membership to access books and other reading resources stored here. The Central Library stores a collection of 120500+ Books, 2500+ Journals, 800+ Thesis, Reports, Conference Proceedings, etc. The Periodical Section of the library has 250+ printed journals. The Central Library also has a collection of e-resources and e-journals. Computer Centre: There is a Computer Centre within the campus that was established to cater to the computing and network facilities of the whole premises. Hostel: Currently, the university has approximately 5 hostels out of which 2 are boys’ hostel and 3 are girls’ hostel. Around 140+ boy students can get accommodation facilities in the hostels provided by them. In girls’ hostels, 50+ female students can find accommodation facilities. Canteen: Both the campuses of the university have canteen facilities for students where they are served nutritious food and beverages. Here students can enjoy the company of each other while having food. Sports: There is a Sports Board in the university that provides students with sports guidance under experienced coaches. Different sports activities include Chess, Athletics, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, Table Tennis, etc. The Sports Department also hosts Inter-Department and Annual Sports events to encourage maximum participation of students.
