Since 2010, Babu Banarasi Das University is committed towards developing new ways to impart quality education, learning, research, and teaching for students. It is AICTE and UGC-approved. The University is committed to imparting academic excellence for students by providing them with the best infrastructure and facilities to pursue their education efficiently. Babu Banarasi Das University has a closed surveillance and security system managed by University authorities to ensure the safety of students. More information about the Infrastructure and Facilities of the University is given below: Library: The rich collection of around 2,00,000 periodicals, books, and journals are stored in the library in printed and electronic form. It also has an online subscription to INDEST, Bentham, Science Direct, and IEEE. Auditorium: The ultra-modern auditorium is equipped with air-conditioners and the latest sound systems having a seating capacity for around 1000 people. Hostel: The hostel accommodation facilities are available for around 2000+ males and 1000+ females within the campus. The hostel accommodation is available on a twin / triple sharing basis. Students can find indoor games, television, and recreation facilities within the hostels. Cafeteria: The campus has coffee shops and a food court within the campus that provide students with fresh as well as hot beverages along with eatables. Sports: The University’s campus has a sports stadium named “Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta” that can accommodate around 20,000+ audiences. It is approved by the BCCI to host National Cricket Tournaments and Ranji Trophy matches. Students Mall: The double-storied building is the mall for students that consists of a stationery & book shop, clothes shop, food court, dispensary, and salon. Transportation: The University provides transportation services for students with a fleet of approximately 20+ coaches. Health Services: In-campus emergency and OPD services are available for students along with regular check-ups. Banking Facilities: Students are benefited from banking facilities available within the campus along with 24x7 ATM amenities.
