About Campus life
The Planning Board of the university supervises all the infrastructural needs of each department and ensures that required facilities are arranged to deliver an effective teaching-learning approach. It has a common Assembly Hall that facilitates students’ attendance in meetings, seminars, workshops, conferences, etc. To provide students with additional knowledge, the university has a Central Library and Departmental Libraries. Its infrastructure includes courts, schools, accommodations, and community centres. Mahatma Gandhi University also has other facilities that are mentioned below:
Library: The Information System and University’s Library consist of the Central Library and has 30+ Departmental / School Libraries along with 4+ Study Centres located within the campus. It has a membership of INFLIBNET Centre and DELNET. Its collection includes 57300+ Books, 2050+ Thesis, 2500+ E-Books, 7500+ Journals, 4+ Online Databases, 160+ National Journals, 4+ Online Journal Archives, and 80+ International Journals.
Laboratories: Some buildings on the campus provide laboratory facilities to conduct experiments, medical research, and diagnostic work. Some of the laboratories on the campus are present in the School of Biosciences, School of Computer Sciences, School of Pure and Applied Physics, School of Chemical Sciences, etc.
IT Infrastructure: These infrastructural facilities supervise all on-campus communication amenities and enterprise data centres including voice communication, data networking, and other associated technologies.
Learning Infrastructure: To provide students with an engaging learning environment, the campus has Academic Buildings, Education Infrastructure, Technological Infrastructure, and other essential elements.
