Shri Jagannath Sanskrit Vishvavidyalaya was established in 1981 and is also known as Shri Jagannath Sanskrit University (SJSU). SJSV is a State University approved by UGC and accredited by NAAC. SJSU provides infrastructure and facilities for growth and development of students. It includes classroom, auditorium, conference hall, canteen, guest house, sports, and more as mentioned below: Library: The Central Library comprises 34000+ Books, 150+ Manuscripts, 450+ Referred Journals, etc. It has a reading room which can accommodate 280+ students. Hostel: Separate accommodation facilities are provided to male and female students. Boys’ hostel can accommodate 90+ students and girls’ hostel is known as Brahmi Chhatri Nivas which can accommodate 200+ students and provides lodging facilities at nominal rates. The hostels are equipped with a common room, recreation centre, provision for indoor games, etc. Health Centre: The health centre has a doctor which provides regular health check-ups for students.
