Nanaji Deshmukh Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya was established in 2009 and is also known as Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University. It was established with an objective to impart quality education in domains of Fisheries, Veterinary, and Allied Sciences. It has played an important role in harnessing the education and research in veterinary and animal sciences for the overall development of the fishery and livestock sector in Madhya Pradesh. NDVSU is a State University which is approved by UGC. Vision and Mission: The University aims at graduating qualified quality individuals who shall attempt to resolve the challenge of feeding the growing population by use of developed and new technologies. It is committed towards promoting research, graduating quality individuals, and create technology for enhancing the livelihoods of rural people. NDVSU has 3 Veterinary Colleges which are located in Rewa, Jabalpur, and Mhow and 5 Veterinary Polytechnic Colleges which are located in Bhopal, Rewa, Jabalpur, Morena, and Mhow.
