Located at Vyasa Vihar, Nuapadhi, the university has a green and clean campus. Students studying here are facilitated with advanced learning and get their space to create and experience new things. The university not only focuses on the academic part of the students, but it provides an environment for the students where they can socialise and share their creativity & ideas without any fear of judgment. The campus of FMU is ragging-free and has developed various cells and committees that look after the issues of the students the Minorities Cell, ST / SC Cell, OBC Cell, Disciplinary Committee, Internal Complaint Committee, Equal Opportunity Committee, etc. There are modern & smart classrooms, Wi-Fi enabled campus, and various other amenities and services like:
Library: A Central Library is present on the campus that complements the academic search of the students. The library is known as Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Library and it is equipped with academic resources covering all the disciplines. The library has automated services and holds digital and printed reading materials. There are more than 50000+ books, periodicals, 170+ back volumes, e-books, 450+ Ph.D theses, 35+ rare documents, magazines, 49800+ e-books, 200+ e-journals, newspapers, etc. A reading room is present in the library with a seating capacity of 55+ students and computer systems are installed with internet facilities so that the students can perform research.
Hostel: To facilitate the students coming from far away locations, the university has established four girls’ hostels and two boys’ hostels. Each hostel is run under the guidance of a superintendent, and security guards are also present on the hostel campus for the purpose of safety. Wardens are responsible for allotting the rooms to the students on merit-cum-distance basis. Each room of the hostel is furnished, modern, and fulfills all the requirements of the hostellers. Mess services are also provided that offer delicious, healthy, and home-like food to the students.
Canteens: The University has two canteens that provide standard and quality food to the students. The surroundings of the canteen are clean and the food is provided to the students at affordable rates.
Sports: The University has advanced sports and game facilities for both boys and girls. Students interested in physical activities are provided with all the sports equipment and gadgets. The university has both indoor and outdoor games with a Physical Education officer to train and guide the students. The university has an excellent infrastructure for games like Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, etc. Students are motivated to take part in various sports tournaments and events.
Medical Facilities: FMU has a functioning Health Care Centre (HCC) that provides medical services and treatment to the students. HCC is equipped with equipment like an ECG Machine, Oxygen Cylinder, Weighing Machine, Pulse Oximeter, Thermometer, etc. In addition to this, during major emergencies, frequent ambulance services are provided to the students.
Other Facilities: Banks, Post Office, Guest House, Little Free Library, etc.
