Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai is an esteemed university founded in 2005 following the act passed under section 3 of the UGC Act. The institute was started to foster in-depth capabilities in nuclear science and engineering and facilitate its conversion into technology advancement. It is approved by AICTE, recognised by MHRD, and is accredited by NAAC. Vision: HBNI’s vision is to promote interdisciplinary research by serving basic research and technology development and nurturing an environment for captivating high quality manpower in the nuclear sciences and other technology related fields. Mission: It aims for the progress of indigenous nuclear technological capability by fostering excellence in Sciences and Mathematics. The university is offering various PG, Diploma, and Doctorate level courses under its constituent institutions.
