About Campus life
Located near ITO in Indraprastha Estate, the campus of the university is modern, and its infrastructure is equipped with all the major academic needs and requirements. SPA provides a ragging-free and student-friendly campus to the students so that they can feel comfortable inside the campus. To keep the students busy and to help them learn something new, apart from academics, the university has formed various Cultural Societies which help the students in exploring & learning new things and showcase their talents. Some of these cultural societies are Photography, Drama, Dance, Painting, Gaming, etc. SPA also organises various exhibitions and festivals for the entertainment of the students. The university has well-established classrooms, well-equipped labs, internet facilities, a conference area, and other major services and amenities like:
Library: The University has established an active Library with well-stocked materials to read and learn from. The library is built in a spacious area and it has a range of books, 80+ print journals, magazines, textbooks, periodicals, newspapers, etc. The university also has a digital section with smooth internet connectivity that offers the students various e-books, 2000+ archived e-journals, CDs, DVDs, and other online databases. A comfortable seating area is created for book lovers so that they can complete their academic tasks and project work easily. The library also fulfills other academic needs of the students as it has Photocopying and Printing services.
Hostel: The University has well-furnished hostel facility for students coming from other cities or states. The rooms of the hostels are equipped as per the requirements of the students and are well maintained. The campus of the hostel gives a homely feeling to the students and special care is given to the safety and security of the students. Mess facility is also provided for the hostellers that serve delicious and healthy meals, prepared in a clean and hygienic kitchen.
Sports: The University has a well-established Sports Cell that motivates and encourages the students to take part in various physical activities and sports. The cell is responsible for organising various sports meets and tournaments throughout the year. Sports Cell provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students like Volleyball, Billiards, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, etc. This cell also organises informal sports events and tournaments such as cricket matches and cycling city tours, so that students can develop their personalities and boost their sportsmanship spirit.
