Santosh University is situated in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and was established back in 1995. Santosh University comes under the category of being deemed to be university. The university has two colleges under its control; they are a Santosh Medical College and Santosh Dental College. There are more than 20 departments at the university that offer various UG and PG courses for the students to choose from. Namely, the departments are Anatomy, Pediatrics, Radiology, ENT, and Dermatology. Other departments are Physiology, Pathology, Microbiology, Ophthalmology, Anaesthesia, Orthopaedics, Psychiatry, and many more to be named. The university offers a UG degree of MBBS, B. Optometry, B.Sc. Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, and B.Sc. Anesthesia & Operation Theatre Technology. And PG degrees in medical courses are offered in various streams, that is, MD in General medicine, Microbiology, Anatomy, General Surgery, Dermatology, Pathology, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, Radiology, and many more such disciplines. And M.Sc. programs in Microbiology/ Anatomy/ Physiology/ Biochemistry, Clinical Psychology, Medical Lab Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, and M. Optometry degree for students to opt for. The university also offers doctoral degrees for the students in various streams in which they can begin their research. The university also offers a DPH diploma degree which can be opted for by the student after the completion of their master's degree. And in the dental college courses offered are UG, Doctoral, PG, and Diploma programs. Courses that are provided in the dental college are BDS, MDS in various disciplines, and a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Dental Mechanics. The university has an institution for the students and a hospital with more than 800-bed facilities for the patients at a time. It promotes comprehensive learning through a combination of classroom, real-world, and community interaction. Other facilities are: Digital Library: A person of any financial level or background can access high-quality information. In order to provide its facilities for students, the university has also opted for automated services with technical assistance.There are various departmental libraries along with the central library at the university, these provide with study material for all the students of different streams. Sports Facilities: Santosh University is committed to helping its students in developing their overall personalities. The university also emphasizes on various co-curricular activities for the students along with the studies. The university hosts an annual fest at the campus for students named as "AURA.” In this fest they organize various competitive games for the students to participate in. Sports facilities for games like cricket, kho-kho, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, and many more are available for the students at the university. Hostel Facilities: There are rooms with attached restrooms for both boys and girls at the university in separate areas that are for residential purposes. The university provides with the transformation of the students living in the hostels with thoughtfully planned areas, a wide range of amenities, as well as thrilling activities. The hostels provide with specially designed hostels of high quality to not to make them worry about housing facilities while studying at the university. For security reasons at the hostels, bio-metric attendance systems and CCTVs are installed in the hostel areas on the campus.
