About Campus life
NIT Warangal is located in a wooded land of around 248 acres which is on either side of Hyderabad- Warangal Highway at a distance of around 12kms from the Warangal Railway Station, and around 3kms from Kazipet Railway Station. The campus has different buildings such as Academic Buildings, Administrative Buildings, Student Hostels, Library Building, Sports and Pavilion Gallery, Guest House, Staff Quarters, and Director’s Bungalow.
Library: NIT Warangal has a Central Library which is housed in a separate building. With an area of approximately 4000 square meters, the library has all the updated resources and supports the research, learning, and teaching activities by offering innovative services. The library has more than a lakh Books, Technical Pamphlets, Back Volumes, Video Cassettes, CD-ROMs, E-books, subscription to more than 3000 E-journals, Magazines, etc.
Laboratories: NIT Warangal has Analytics and Simulation Lab which has around 30 machines having access to IBM, SPSS, GRETL, Python, etc. Other laboratories include Computation Laboratory, Material Testing Laboratory, Transportation Engineering Laboratory, Engineering Geology Laboratory, Sophisticated Analytical Instruments Laboratories, etc.
Hostel: NIT Warangal provides residential services to all the students. The institute has 2 hostels for women, 16 blocks including 1 ultra-mega and 1 mega hostels for men, and 1 hostel for international students. The hostel has 1 mess for girls and 5 messes for boys.
Other Facilities: Auditorium, Seminar Halls, Student Activity Centre, Institute Health Care, Stadium, Indoor Games Complex, Computer Centre, Banks and ATM, Post Office, Transportation, Guest House, etc.
