About Campus life
Library: The total area covered by the Central Library of the University is about 4700 sq. ft. that facilitate students with information and knowledge-based resources. This library has facilities like Online Journal Service, Resource Sharing, Reference Services, CD-ROM Databases, Online Data Services, etc. The collection of library includes 22190+ books, 2290+ Reference Books, 200+ CDs, 350+ Subscribed Journals, etc.
Hostel: There are separate residential facilities for both boys and girls within the campus with around 30+ rooms in each hostel. Approximately 100+ boys and 220+ girls can stay comfortably in their separate hostels. There are messes that meet the taste requirements of students and are installed with proper furniture, cameras, and purified RO water. Recreation rooms are available where students can spend their leisure time.
Sports: There is a Department of Physical Education at University that monitors sports and games activities organised within the campus. Students are encouraged to take part in Zonal and Inter-Zonal Tournaments to promote sports spirit in them. All the necessary equipment and facilities are available in the department. Indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, etc. and Outdoor Sports like Kabaddi, Football, Cricket, Volleyball, etc. can be played by the students within the campus.
Fine Art Club: This is a club where students can represent their talent in Photography, Painting, Drawing, Cookery, Pencil Sketching, etc. They can also take part in interdepartmental competitions conducted every year.
