The National Law Institute University started its operations in 1997. It is recognised by BCI and Association of Indian Universities (AIU). NLIU Bhopal is approved by UGC. The University has been ranked by NIRF in 2024. Vision: The vision is to become one of the finest universities at global level for legal education, research and training. About Campus life
Library: There is a state of the art library present in the campus called Gyan Mandir. It houses resources including national & international journals of law and social sciences, and books. Students have access to e-resources including JSTOR, Hein Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, SCC online, National Digital Library (NDLI), and others. Laboratories: An air-conditioned computer lab is available for students in the campus. The lab has around 120 computers with internet access. Auditorium: There is an auditorium which is equipped with an AV and Multimedia system. The auditorium is used for events such as group discussions and other programmes. Moot Court: A sound proof moot court is there in the campus which also has a screen and a projector. There is also a ‘Moot Court Association’ (MCA) which supervises many mooting competitions that are organised by the university. Cafeteria: A well-furnished canteen is available on the campus. Several food varieties are served there to the students. Hostel: The University facilitates hostels for both male and female students. Necessary facilities are provided to the hostellers. Sports: Many sports facilities are accessible to students including a sports complex that has a gymnasium, fields for football and volleyball and two basketball courts. Other Facilities: Seminar Halls, etc.
