LNIPE campus is located in Shakti Nagar, on Race Course Road, at a distance 1 km from Gwalior Railway Station, covering an area of about 153 acres and is fully residential. The authorities at the institute make sure to provide all the amenities necessary for academics and comfortable stay of the students. Below is the list of few of the amenities available at the LNIPE campus. Central Library: The Central Library of the institute is housed in a two story building reflecting the true knowledge of Physical Education and Sports Culture. It strives hard to keep pace with the global and dynamic information environment to meet the expectations of its users. A unique collection of 62,000+ books relating to the field with interlibrary withdrawal and reprography facilities are available for the users. The entire area of the central library is equipped with Wi-Fi, and microfilm, video cassettes, e-books on CD-ROM’s are available for students. Hostel Facility: The institute has seven boys’ hostels named after the freedom fighters of the country, namely Pratap, Vivekanada, Shivaji, Aurobindo, Subhash, Azad, and Dhyanchand, and four girls’ hostels namely Sarojini, Mrignayani, Padmini and Mother Teresa to cater the accommodation requirements of its students. Each hostel has a separate warden to look after, assist, and maintain discipline among the hostellers. Moreover a separate Mahatma Gandhi International Hostel with 42 rooms is also present at the campus. Medical Facility: A health center is functioning at the campus where minor injuries and general diseases are treated by the doctors with minimal fees. For emergency cases students are referred to expert doctors although in cases of critical treatment, the medical officer at the institute has the authority to sign on behalf of the parents. Physiotherapy treatment is also available at the center. Mess: Being a fully residential institute, it has its own mess to cater to the hunger needs of its students. There are separate mess for boys and girls equipped with latest equipment. Special efforts on hygienic conditions is given in the interest of health of the students. Sports Facility: At LNIPE campus sport facilities like Indoor Swimming Pool, Judo Hall, Table Tennis Hall, Weight Lifting and Weight Training Halls, Boxing Ring, Skating Rink, and several other sports facilities for both outdoor and indoor games are available for students. There is also a gymnasium and fitness club for students. Other Facilities: Guest Houses, Auditorium, Laboratories, etc.
