The University’s campus is spread across an area of approximately 300 acres and is situated approximately 6.5 Km from National Highway and around 25 Km from Itanagar. Rajiv Gandhi University provides the following Infrastructure and Facilities for its students: Library: The Central Library of the university is situated in a separate building and consists of a wide collection of academic resources. The collection includes 3000+ Books, 2000+ Gifted Books, 15+ International Journals, 70+ National Printed Journals, etc. It also has subscriptions to 10+ Local, National and Regional dailies. It has also subscribed to 10+ Magazines. It has a separate cell that provides students access to the internet so that they can browse 9000+ e-Journals. The library also conducts orientation, workshops, and training for library related fields. Computer Centre: The campus has a Computer Centre in the Academic Block and Library of the university that fulfils the computing needs of students and faculties. Canteen & Cooperative Store: The campus has a Shopping Complex that consists of a Central Canteen, a Book Stall, a Cafeteria, a Pharmacy, a Cooperative Store, a Tea-stall, Stationery-cum-Grocery Shop, and a Salon. Hostel: There are around 5 Residential Halls for boys and 5 for girls. These halls can accommodate approximately 1000+ students and have facilities like TV, Common Room, and Indoor Games. Each hall operates their Mess on a cooperative basis. Boxing Academy: The University has a Boxing Academy that provides a platform for aspiring boxers of the campus and nearby areas. Healthcare Centre: The campus has a Health centre that has around 4 beds and consists of advanced facilities and equipment. Approximately 3 nurses, 2 medical officers, a pharmacist, and technicians are appointed to supervise this centre. Transportation: The University provides transportation services for its students and faculties. Sports: The University has a Badminton Court, Volleyball Court, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, a Fitness centre and a Students Activity Centre for its students. It also participates in Inter-University Sports and Games Tournaments.
