There are 4 buildings, the main building, baker building, derozio building and NS (Netaji Subhash) building. The university playground is huge. There is also an Arts Library, a Central Library (which has almost all the books for academic learning), a Black Box Studio (for Performing arts department), a central computer laboratory, a gymnasium, 4 auditoriums: Derozio Hall (the largest), PC Mahalanobis Audiorium (second largest), AK Basak Auditorium and the Manik Bandopadhyay Auditorium. There is an in-house counselor and a medical unit too. There are total, 2 canteens : Srishti Canteen, and Purushottam Canteen, 1 cafe called Sukumar Da's Cafe, or Suku's cafe, and one Nescafe Shop.The university has a really good crowd. There is absolutely no ragging within the campus. It is famous for the political critique by its students. There are 2 annual fests, ‘Ispat’ and ‘Icon’, held in September and December, respectively. Events like Debating (DEBSOC), Shutterbugs (photography)and many sports competitions & leagues keep happening throughout the year. The campus is a really fun place to be in.
