Bundelkhand University is located in Jhansi which is also known as the land of Maharani Lakshmi Bai, Fiery Queen, or the gateway to Bundelkhand. It is located in the central part of the nation and is well connected by roads and rails.
Bundelkhand University offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and world class facilities for the upliftment of the students. The facilities provided to the students by the University include smart classrooms, laboratories, Wi-Fi, bank, shopping centre, canteen, stationery shop, day care centre, ATM, Gym and fitness centre, post office, guest house, computer centre, parking facilities, and analytical facilities. The other facilities provided to the students of the University include:
Library: The University has a Central Library which is spread over 1823 square meters and can accommodate 145+ members. It is equipped with National Journals, 1 Lakh+ Books, Text Books, Magazines, International Journals, Standards, Reference Books, 840+ Back Volumes, 1800+ Thesis, e-Resources, 7300+ e-Books and e-Journals, etc. It has a reading hall which can accommodate 145+ members and provides facilities such as OPAC, etc.
Auditorium: The Gandhi Auditorium can accommodate 900+ members and is fully air-conditioned. It has twin seminar halls with audio-visual aids.
Hostel: The male and female students of the University are provided hostel facilities separately. The University has 6 hostels for girls and a Lord Buddha PG Hostel for boys. The girls’ hostels can accommodate 800+ students and boys’ hostel can accommodate 150+ students. The hostels are equipped with well furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, mess, open gymnasium, housekeeping, visitors’ room, security, newspaper facility, and all the basic facilities. The girls hostel complex has an open air theatre which provides an interactive, lively, and recreational environment for the students.
NSS: The NSS Department organises Blood Donation Camps, Immunisations and Medicare for villagers and local community, Eye Check-Ups, Blood Group testing, etc.
Sports: The University has a Sports Department which keeps the students updated about various sporting events at national, regional, and state level. Students are also provided with outdoor and indoor sports facilities such as Playground, Running Track, Football Ground, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, 2+ Badminton Courts, Swimming Pool, Chess Board, etc.
Health Centre: The University has a Health Centre which is located within a close proximity to the shopping complex. It is easily accessible by the students and has a dispensary, 2+ physicians, internist, pathologist, dentist, and an ophthalmologist.
