GMC Jammu admission 2023 for MBBS or BDS courses shall be conducted based on NEET results followed by the counselling process. Students who have qualified the NEET exam shall appear for the counselling process. The NEET round 1 counselling registration 2024 will begin on July 20, 2023. The round 1 choice filling and locking process will be conducted between July 22 to July 26, 2023. Moreover, the NEET counselling result round 1 is expected to be announced on July 29, 2023.

About Campus life
Government Medical College is an attempt to generate a climate of science in independent India. It was established in April 1971(foundation stone laid by then Chief Minister late Mr.G.M.Sadiq (J&K) to serve as a nucleus for the development of excellence in all aspects of the health care system. Government Medical College spreads this culture of dedicated efficiency, love and care to humanity at large even outside its walls, within the Province and state, through its students trained at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in various disciplines. Our activities are concerned with student welfare on a variety of issues concerning life.
Hostel and facilities
The college has the facility of separate hostels for Under-graduates and Post-graduates. Three blocks with three storyed for Post-graduates and Under-gradates are available for boys and three storyed with two blocks are for girls. Total rooms are 549. All the hostels are situated with the college complex at a distance varying from 200-500 meters from different hospitals.
