The campus of NIT Jalandhar is spread over an area of 154 acres. It has various buildings with clean roads and surrounded by a green belt. At the NIT Jalandhar campus, there are ten boys and three girls’ hostels. Facilities such as indoor games, reading room, washing machine etc are available in every hostel. There is internet facility available and geysers, water coolers and water purifiers are also there in all hostels. The NIT Jalandhar campus has a dispensary to take care of the medical needs of the students, and bus facility is provided to the students. There is a shopping centre to cater to the needs of the students, a few food joints, a central seminar hall, well-equipped gymnasium and facilities for indoor sports such as table tennis, badminton etc at the NIT Jalandhar campus. The institute also has an open-air theatre for conferences, movie shows etc, and there are two banks in the campus, Canara Bank and State Bank of Patiala, which are in the same building of the NIT Jalandhar campus. In addition to it, there is a vibrant Student Activity Centre on the campus which has a gym, hall, open-air theatre and club building. The college conducts TechNITi, which is a techno-management fest is conducted at the NIT Jalandhar campus in mid-September. The fest involves events from all the departments, including from robotics, and also includes guest lectures and workshops. Apart from this, the institute also conducts Utkansh, which is a cultural fest that takes place for four days usually during the end of March. Each day usually has theme-based events; previous themes have included folk, rock, Kavi Sammelan (poets meet), comedy, theatre, fusion etc.

Hostels available
