Barkatullah University has a clean and green environment and is located along the Hoshangabad Highway which is at a distance of 3 kms from Habibganj Railway Station. It is spread over 400 acres. The University provides canteen, parking facility, smoke free zone, and other facilities which are mentioned below:
Library: The University has a Central Library which occupies 24000 square feet area. It has a wide collection of approximately 75000 Books, 2800+ Research Magazines, 5700+ Thesis, 14+ Daily Newspapers, 10+ Weekly Newspapers, Reference Books, Text Books, Journals, Dissertations, E-Books, E-Journals, etc. Library provides reference services, book bank services, open access to the resources, OPAC, E-Granthalaya Search, etc.
Auditorium: The auditorium is equipped with audio and visual facilities, sound system, etc. and is used for conducting seminars, meetings, panel discussions, etc.
Hostel: Separate accommodation facilities are provided to the female and male students. The University has 6 hostels situated within the campus. There are 3 boys’ hostels which include Jawahar Hostel, Sanjay Gandhi Hostel, and Munshi Premchand Hostel. The 3 girls’ hostels include Nivedita Hostel, Indira Gandhi hostel, and Rani Laxmi Bai Hostel. The hostels provide all the basic amenities to the students.
NSS: National Service Scheme organises health care and immunisation, literacy drive, tree plantation, blood donation camps, etc.
Sports: The University has a Department of Physical Education and Sports which provides the students with sports materials, infrastructure and facilities such as Cricket Ground, Badminton Court, Football Ground, Gymnasium Hall, etc.
Medical: The University has a Health Centre which fosters healthy community by providing good quality wellness programs for the students. The Health Centre also has medical officers.
