About Campus life
The present campus of NNM is situated 100 kms from the metropolis of Patna on the southern bank of Lake Indrapuskarani. The campus location is eye-catching and the environment is pleasing and full of enthusiasm. In addition, the university serves its students various facilities so as to ensure the overall development of the students. Here are some of the facilities students can avail at NNM campus.
Library: The Central Library is housed in a two story building. It is a storehouse of knowledge, initially having a great collection of books and manuscripts while the present modern day collection acquires, organises, disseminates, and furnishes information in different forms. The total resource at the library is 55,000+ along with some rare manuscripts. Considering the latest trends in research, it has subscribed to International research journals and periodicals related to Ideology and Buddhist learning also.
Hostel: Resident students in the hostel experience the beautiful surroundings and several facilities for a comfortable stay at the historical seat of knowledge. Amenities like common room, dining hall, hot water, water purifier, indoor game facilities, Wi-Fi, health care facility, etc are provided to hostlers.
Medical Facility: There is a health center named Jeevak Heath Centre functioning at the University campus providing medical aid to both students and staff. Some of the facilities available at the center are medicines, first-aid, E.C.G, Pulse Oximeter, ambulance, and more.
Cafeteria: The University has a well maintained and hygienic canteen functioning in the premise to cater to the needs of students and staff.
Sports: Sports activities are promoted and various games like Slow Cycle, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw, Carrom Board, Badminton, Cricket, etc are played at the university. The various events and games are managed by the Sports Cell at NNM.
Other Facilities: Vipassana Meditation courses, Computer Lab, Conference room, Guest House, etc.
