Berhampur University is at a distance of 12 kms from the city. It provides world class infrastructure and facilities for the upliftment of the students. The facilities provided by the University include canteen, conference hall, herbal garden, guest house, botanical garden, yoga centre, post office, bank, and more as mentioned below:
Library: The library comprises of various materials such as Books, Thesis, Journals, Periodicals, Magazines, Newspapers, Encyclopedias, Databases, Online Resources, Online Journals, Online Books, etc. It also provides OPAC, INFLIBNET services, etc.
Auditorium: The Biju Patnaik Auditorium is equipped with air-conditioners, green rooms, cordless mikes, projectors, etc. It is used for conducting lectures, seminars, conferences, cultural programs, workshops and meetings and can accommodate 700+ members.
Open Air Theatre: Bhanja Mandap and Kabisurya Mandap are the two open air theatres which are used for organising cultural activities for the students.
Hostel: The University provides residential facilities for the outstation students. It has approximately 7 hostels for male students and up to 8 hostels for female students. The hostels are equipped with well-furnished rooms, recreational facilities, study room, mess, gymnasium, outdoor and indoor games, Wi-Fi, wardens, and basic facilities.
Shopping Complex: Anand Bazaar and Deepa Market are the two shopping centers which cater to the needs of the students. It comprises a medicine store, photocopy facility, internet cafe, daily provision store, vegetable stalls, etc.
Health Centre: It caters to the healthcare needs of the students and provides homeopathic and allopathic treatment. The health centre has a compounder, allopathic doctor, nurse, homeopathic doctor, attendant, and ambulance for the students.
